I serve on the Board of AJSS because of a desire to see the remarkable mission of this unique organization fulfilled. The opportunity to ensure that young Jewish men and women  experience firsthand how others less fortunate live and to see how their efforts can impact both those they help as well as themselves is a way to "repay" AJSS for the ways it helped transform me so many years ago.
