Welcome to the American Jewish Society for Service! We have been giving high school students the chance to put their Jewish values into action for 60 years through our transformative Summer of Service Program.

We predate the Peace Corps and Habitat for Humanity and in the 60 years since we have been serving communities across the United States, community service has become an integral facet of Jewish life and an important rite of passage for most high school students.

AJSS works in communities in the US that need help. Our program provides students with the chance to serve others and live in a part of the country very different from home.
